We practice best practices, including proper spacing, ventilation, and moisture control, so the siding can naturally breathe and age beautifully without warping or premature wear.
- 1Remove existing layer(s) down to the plywood
- 2Replace any plywood that is warped/rotted
- 3Install a self adhered WRB to protect the plywood from water/moisture
- 4Flash around windows and doors with acrylic tape
- 5Install a ventilation netting; this helps the cedar breathe
- 6Cedar is installed using stainless steel nails
